The Women's and Children's Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Access Assistant Program team within 3D Health.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care and health support to children with complex health and disability needs in educational settings.
* Provide direct nursing care and health support to children with complex health and disability needs in educational settings.
* Manage airway support, enteral nutrition, medication, catheterisation, seizures, and asthma per individualised health plans.
* Collaborate with health professionals, families, and agencies for optimal health outcomes.
* Consolidate knowledge and skills through professional development and experience.
* Acknowledge accountability for nursing care standards and delegated activities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Registration as a nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and hold a current practicing certificate.
* Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
* Proven experience in working with clients with complex and/or invasive healthcare including tracheostomies, oxygen therapy, and ventilation.
* Effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
