Job Description
The National Library of Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage the membership program for the Friends of the National Library of Australia Inc.
The role involves ensuring accurate records, responding to enquiries, and promoting member engagement and membership. The successful candidate will also provide secretariat support to the Friends Committee, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, and offering informed advice.
A key part of the role involves working across the Library to plan and deliver Friends events, including lectures, exhibition openings and social gatherings. The Executive Officer will also draft articles and publicity materials and oversee the Friends membership program.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates professionalism, initiative and strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling engagement confidently with stakeholders
