Job Description:
The Asset Validation Officer role involves undertaking and assisting with asset data collection of building spaces, infrastructure, plant and equipment across facilities within Port Macquarie Base Hospital. The primary objective is to capture accurate data, including location, condition, manufacturer, model, serial number, type, criticality, and function in a template and according to NSW Health and Health Infrastructure Nomenclature guidelines. This will ensure consistent and categorised data for upload into internal computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
This role translates organisational objectives into asset-related decisions, plans and activities based on a balance of cost, risk, and performance using a whole-of-lifecycle approach to deliver defined service outcomes.
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. A valid authority to work in Australia is also required.
