BlueCare is embarking on an exciting transformation to strengthen the provision of quality nursing care in the community setting.
As part of our clinical nursing team within our neighbourhood structure, you will focus on providing nursing care and leadership, supporting and guiding other care staff to deliver quality care that promotes quality of life and enhances independence for individuals to remain in their homes in the community.
Your part in our Clinical Team
As our Clinical Nurse, you will be allocated a client portfolio and have the opportunity to lead and inspire the frontline clinical team through guidance and mentorship.
The role will hone your effective decision making and clinical experience where you provide exceptional care while responding to clinical nursing issues and concerns.
With our clients' wellbeing always in mind, you'll review client care and care plans promoting independence and quality of life, making a real difference to the quality of care we deliver.
This includes:
Development, implementation, monitoring and review of care plans
Comprehensive and accurate assessment of residents
Assisting with the orientation of new staff and ongoing professional development
Support in ensuring the service meets all accreditation standards
What makes a difference for us
You will be an experienced clinician with considerable experience within an acute or aged care environment.
You'll be an advocate for person-centred care, leading by example through exceptional communication and customer service.
You will provide:
Bachelor of Nursing, or equivalent qualification
Current AHPRA registration
Extensive general nursing experience and demonstrated skills reflective of clinical experience
Ability to liaise with the care team and provide coordinated care
Confidence to manage conflict, pressures and competing priorities
Experience working in a multidisciplinary team with the ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship to other team members
Previous community nursing experience and knowledge in community funding is highly desirable
