The Conservation Council of Western Australia (CCWA) is the state's leading not-for-profit conservation and environment organisation. As our Citizen Science Lead, you will drive meaningful conservation outcomes by designing and delivering citizen science programs that build community capacity and deepen public engagement with the natural world. A unique opportunity to lead impactful work at the intersection of science, community, and conservation, this part-time role (0.8 FTE) is classified at Level 6 under the Social and Community Services (WA) Interim Award 2011.
About the roleReporting to the Program Manager Nature, the Citizen Science Lead is responsible for initiating, coordinating, and delivering citizen science activities across CCWA's Nature Program. You will lead projects from development through to delivery, manage volunteers and community partnerships, and contribute to strategic planning processes guided by the Citizen Science Steering Committee.
