About The Opportunity
Reporting to the Survey Manager, your key duties include, but are not limited to:
* Conduct survey set out as directed from the Survey Manager and Senior Supervisors.
* Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted on sites.
* Survey set out of Roads & Drainage, Topographical surveys, quantity volume surveys & As-builds as required. Control and GPS localisations.
* Work with the latest Topcon & Trimble Survey equipment & Machine Control, including Robotic Total Station, Network & Base GPS systems.
* Coordinate findings with the work of engineers, site supervisors, clients and other project stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and identify issues before they arise.
* Undertake computations and checks to create 3d data for set out, reports and machine control, using CAD software.
* Carry out field, office & maintenance duties as required. Training of junior staff on measuring & and using survey set out correctly.
About You
As a Civil Surveyor, You Will Ideally Possess
* Ideally 2-5 years' experience in a surveyor role.
* Experience with GPS and/or Total Station.
* Understanding of CAD software packages, and willing to learn.
* Knowledge and experience using Topcon, Trimble or Leica survey equipment.
* Passion to learn & explore new technologies.
