A high-end Italain restuarant are now seeking an experienced Front of House Manager
Front house manager duties and responsibilities:
- Table arrangement and function monitoring.
- Willing to work on various shifts especially Fri to Sun(work at least 5 days a week).
- Confirm bookings by calling guests(or arrange someone to do it)
- Close shop during the shift, make sure the air-con and lights are off, doors are properly locked before closing the shop.
- HR management:
- Hiring and training staff : Including arranging online advertisement, resume screening, interviewing, trialing current staff, and determine wage rates.
- Monitoring performance of staff : monitor the performance and appoint talented staff to take on more responsibilities according the operation needs, such as liquor purchase, social media promotion(photography and content creation).
- Rostering : collaborates with office manager, bookkeeper to arrange roster according to availability and rates of staff to minimise labour costs.
- Coordination and liaison
- Liaising and coordinating for premises maintenance : communicate with property manager, landlord or other service providers for any repairs and maintenance of the premises, and make necessary arrangement, such as lock damage, internet, phone lines etc.
- Handle complaints: the manager needs to handle the guests' complaints, communicate with the social media outsourcer regarding google reviews and negative feedback.
- Monitor social media and website updates: communicate with outsourcer regarding web page maintenance, social media updates, google review feedbacks and maintenance.contents uploads regarding special events and regular updates
- Equipment management : arrange the office to contact the equipment provider, insurance to request and quote and arrange repairs accordingly; make sure no equipments or devices are missing.
- Email reply : monitor the office to reply the emails, answer inquiries for large functions and make necessary arrangement.
- Be the corresponding person for any government agencies, and landlord contact.
