Senior Manager, Branding - EAPAC - 1 year contractHotel Brand:Location: Australia, New South Wales, SydneyHotel: Corp Sydney, Level 11, 20 Bond St, 2000Actively involved in initiatives that drive growth and performance for the Mainstream brand category, primarily focusing on EAPAC, with potential scope across broader EMEAA and Global regions to meet company objectives.Co-lead the development and implementation of data-driven brand strategies and plans for the Business Unit, aligning with global and regional strategies/goals.Lead or participate in new brand launches, market entries, brand localization, and development of brand tools and assets to enable hotel readiness and scalability.Lead development and embedment of product and service innovations, along with supporting toolkits for consistent guest experience and internal stakeholders (e.g., Development, D&E).Develop thorough understanding of the category to identify gaps and opportunities in key markets for mainstream segment growth.Support management of key stakeholders within the BU/Brand community.Act as brand custodian for Mainstream brands, providing expertise and consultation to support growth functions like Development, Hotel Lifecycle, Marketing/PR, and Hotels.Participate in brand standards development and measurement, ensuring standards are current and accurate across functions.Monitor and manage project budgets and related processes.Key Shared AccountabilitiesBrand marketing and commercial performance.Support operations to achieve brand compliance and positive guest satisfaction scores.Assist NHOPs in maintaining brand consistency and scalability.Support regional stakeholder communications development and implementation.Required Education, Experience, Technical Skills, and KnowledgeEducationBachelor's or Master’s Degree in Brand Management, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or equivalent education and experience.ExperienceMinimum 8 years in hospitality or a consumer-focused sector, preferably within a large multinational company, with roles in brand management or marketing.Experience in a multinational environment, ideally in APAC.Required SkillsAbility to synthesize data and market analysis into clear reports; knowledge of market research is a plus.Strong project management skills, with leadership experience preferred.Excellent communication, presentation, and group facilitation skills.Ability to think strategically with a regional/global perspective and scalability in mind.Content development skills for tools and guidelines.Flexibility to lead or collaborate as a team player across projects.Accountability, ability to meet deadlines, and multi-tasking skills.Experience managing agency relationships effectively.Proactive, independent work approach with initiative.Understanding of market research processes.Culturally sensitive and aware across diverse geographies.Who we areAt IHG Hotels & Resorts, we work together to deliver True Hospitality for Good worldwide.
