The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and capableMechanical Project Engineerto join our team. This role will support the successful delivery of engineering projects by coordinating technical inputs, managing project activities, liaising with clients and internal disciplines, and contributing to safe, practical and high-value engineering outcomes.
The position would suit an engineer who enjoys working across both technical and project delivery functions and is looking to develop within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Position Overview
* Support the planning, coordination and delivery of engineering projects from concept through to execution
* Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting and progress tracking
* Coordinate inputs across multiple engineering disciplines to ensure quality and timely delivery
* Prepare and review technical documentation, scopes of work, reports and project deliverables
* Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain effective communication throughout project execution
* Monitor project risks, actions and priorities, and contribute to mitigation strategies
* Support procurement, contractor coordination and construction/implementation activities where required
* Ensure work is completed in accordance with relevant standards, client requirements and internal quality procedures
* Contribute to continuous improvement and the delivery of practical, cost-effective engineering solutions
About You
* Degree-qualified in Engineering, with approximately 5-10 years' experience in multidisciplinary and site-based environments
* Demonstrated experience in a project engineering or project delivery role within mineral processing, industrial, infrastructure or related sectors
* Capacity and interest to undertake short-term site based assignments
* Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
* Sound technical understanding and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple deliverables
* Experience with project documentation, scheduling, reporting and stakeholder coordination
* Commercial awareness and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
