Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with design, analysis, and development of mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and analyze the mechanical aspects of equipment using CAD and FEA software.
* Support the design and development of mechanical systems to aid integration and testing.
* Review specifications and other data to integrate mechanical packages and produce operation and maintenance documentation for new equipment.
* Create drawings, calculations, reports, and project documentation to support design, test, construction, and commissioning of new and upgraded mechanical equipment.
* Lead and support the commissioning of mechanical systems by developing written procedures and checklists for performing test and commissioning operations as required.
* Fault find and perform rectification of mechanical equipment.
* Coordinate the fabrication, assembly, and integration of mechanical equipment.
* Support launch preparations and launch operations as needed.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics, or Structural Engineering.
* 1+ years of mechanical or structural design and drafting experience (including internships or personal projects).
* NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred.
