The Role
As a Site Manager, you will play a key role in delivering projects that stand out for their quality and attention to detail.
You'll be entrusted with overseeing the day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
We're looking for candidates who are currently in a similar role and have a track record of success in managing construction sites in remote locations efficiently.
This position, located on Bickerton Island, is available for immediate start and operates on an ideally a 3 : 1 roster (3 weeks on, one week off).
Main Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate construction activities across multiple projects
Ensure adherence to construction plans, specifications, and timelines
Manage long and short-term programming to meet deadlines
Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during construction
Coordinate logistics, material deliveries, and resource allocation
Foster strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members
Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to keep projects on track from start to finish Skills & Experience Proven experience in commercial construction, specifically in a Site Supervisor role
Strong organizational and forward-planning skills with a knack for meeting deadlines
Excellent leadership and communication abilities
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Sound knowledge of Quality and Process Control Procedures
A professional, approachable, and solution-oriented attitude Requirements Must have a Site Supervisor License, opens is preferred
At least 3 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in commercial construction, working in remote locations will be advantageous
Strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety regulations
A stable career history will be highly regarded
Full, unencumbered driver's license
White Card
Current First Aid Certificate
