You'll work hands-on across modern underground support equipment, with genuine development into a Lead Fitter role for the right person. The Opportunity FIFO or residential Kalgoorlie 8:6 / 7:7 roster - strong work/life balance $75 - $80/hr super (temp-to-perm pathway) Small, skilled team with real autonomy Clear progression into a Lead Fitter position Equipment You'll Be Working On Normet underground support fleet (Agis, Spraymecs) Integrated Tool Carriers (ITs) Light Vehicles and ancillary underground equipment Your Day-to-Day Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance Breakdown repairs, diagnostics and fault finding Working across surface workshop, underground workshop and field service Managing your own workload and equipment with minimal supervision What We're Looking For Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter Strong mechanical fault-finding skills Ability to work autonomously in an underground environment Mining experience highly regarded, but open to fitters from other heavy equipment backgrounds Safety-focused, reliable and motivated to step into leadership Why This Role?
