Legal Receptionist / Legal Assistant
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a front-facing role within a well-established family Law firm.
This position would suit someone who enjoys engaging with clients, works well in a fast-paced setting, and is eager to develop a long-term career in the legal sector.
About the Role
As the first point of contact, you will be integral to the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a high standard of client service is consistently delivered.
Your duties will include:
* Greeting clients and maintaining a professional front-of-house presence
* Handling incoming calls and responding to email enquiries
* Managing calendars and coordinating appointments
* Booking barristers and liaising with external stakeholders
* Conducting client follow-ups and preparing correspondence
* Maintaining accurate data entry and file records
* Assisting with billing and general administrative support
* Monitoring and ordering office supplies
* Providing additional administrative assistance to the legal team as required
About You
You will be a motivated and well-organised individual who presents professionally and enjoys working as part of a team.
Ideally, you will have:
* Previous experience in a legal reception or professional services role
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent time management and organisational abilities
A warm, professional approach when interacting with clients
* A proactive attitude with a willingness to support others
* Excellent attention to detail
* Solid IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
