The Opportunity
School of Psychology is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Administrative Officer, Psychology Outreach Clinic.
We are seeking a dedicated and highly professional to lead the front-line operations of the Western Sydney University Psychology Clinics. This pivotal role ensures the smooth delivery of services by implementing approved processes that meet all legal and compliance requirements. The Senior Administrative Officer will provide essential administrative support to Master of Professional Psychology trainees, clients, and staff—particularly the Clinic Director and Clinical Supervisors. Given the sensitive nature of the clinic's work, the successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional discretion, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times.
About You
The successful candidate will have :
* Proven ability to provide sensitive, effective, and efficient support in managing client enquiries and documentation.
* Experience investigating complex, confidential, and sensitive matters, with the ability to deliver high-level analysis and strategic recommendations.
* Strong understanding of compliance requirements, with demonstrated experience maintaining accurate and secure client records in line with privacy standards.
* Capacity to manage client allocation processes and ensure proper record creation, maintenance, and archiving.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with local clinicians and referral organisations.
* Sound knowledge of administrative systems, policies, and procedures, with the ability to provide clear advice and support to students and staff.
* A proactive approach to improving administrative processes, with experience contributing to system enhancements in collaboration with leadership.
* Familiarity with managing resources such as a Psychology Test Library, including ordering and stock monitoring.
* Competence in preparing and delivering regular reports, feedback, and statistics to senior staff.
