Chemical Manufacturing Operator Ongoing Casual Role Day shift hours, 6am to 2pm $35.15 per hour Moorabbin location The Company Our client, based in Moorabbin, is a global manufacturer supplying inks and coatings to the printing industry. Operating in a quality-driven and safety-focused environment, they are committed to training, product quality and service excellence. Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to: Manufacture inks and coatings through weighing, milling, mixing and filling processes Operate production equipment safely in accordance with SOPs and site procedures Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements Support warehouse activities including receiving, dispatch and forklift operation Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and environmental compliance To be considered for this role you will possess the following: Experience in a manufacturing, production or chemical processing environment (preferred) A current LF Forklift Licence (highly regarded) Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, safety and following procedures Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team The physical capability to perform manual handling tasks and pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing Hours and Rate: Monday to Friday, 6am till 2pm $35.15 per hour, plus overtime available We request that candidates have full Australian working rights.
