Are you an experienced Administration Manager from the residential building space who thrives on structure, leadership and driving performance? Our client, a highly respected and long-established residential builder with a strong footprint in the WA market, is seeking a dynamic Administration Manager to lead a high-performing team across project coordination, selections and client liaison. This is a pivotal leadership role reporting directly to the Operations Manager, where you will take ownership of workflow, KPI delivery and continuous improvement across the administration function.
What you'll be doing:
* Lead, manage and support the Administration team (Project Coordinators, Selection Consultants and Client Liaison Officers)
* Oversee daily workflow to ensure jobs progress smoothly from PPA to OK2Start within KPI timeframes
* Chair weekly job book meetings and allocate work to ensure timely job progression
* Ensure exceptional customer service, managing client enquiries and resolving complaints effectively
* Oversee contract documentation, approvals and accurate record management
* Maintain and update contract, addenda and specification templates
* Monitor and report on pipeline, estimated starts and team performance
* Collaborate with Construction, Drafting, Estimating, Finance and other departments to prevent delays
* Identify training needs, manage staff performance and maintain appropriate resourcing levels
* Drive continuous improvement across administrative systems, processes and standards
What you'll need:
* Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the building or construction industry
* Proven experience as an Administration Manager in residential construction (or a similar sector)
* Strong background in managing administration teams, workflow and KPIs in a fast-paced project environment
* Experience overseeing contract documentation, approvals and client processes through pre-construction stages
* Strong understanding of construction documentation including contracts, plans and specifications
* Advanced computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Knowledge of compliance, record-keeping and corporate administrative standards
