We are looking for an experienced plant operator who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and consistently operate in a safe and compliant manner.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, in remote locations, and as part of a regional team.

About The Role
The role to support a wide range of forestry operations. Reporting under general direction, this role is responsible for operating plant and medium/heavy vehicles across forest road construction and maintenance, plantation establishment, and fire control activities.
We Would Love You To Have
Demonstrated experience operating plant and medium/heavy vehicles in high-risk environments.
Experience in forest or road construction and maintenance techniques.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, safety systems and quality standards.
Ability to work extended hours, including working alone and in remote locations.
Strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills.
Basic computer skills and willingness to use technology such as iPads, apps and reporting systems.
Current Heavy Combination (HC) Driver's Licence (mandatory)
Relevant plant tickets and certifications.
Firefighting accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
