The Adelaide Building Services team works on a broad portfolio of projects, emphasizing key initiatives in transport, defence, civic infrastructure, and commercial sectors.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, your activities will include:
* Providing mechanical design expertise on single and multi-disciplinary projects.
* Delivering best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time.
* Leading small to medium-sized engineering design projects and supporting larger projects.
* Communicating effectively with external and internal stakeholders and project teams.
* Supporting lesser-experienced engineers and building solid client relationships.
* Recognizing business development opportunities and representing the business with local markets.
Key responsibilities include managing competing priorities, prioritizing work, and meeting tight deadlines. A history of effective time management is essential.

About You
* Hold a recognized tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering.
* Demonstrate expertise in designing mechanical services systems (air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems).
* Have the ability to coordinate and understand relevant building services disciplines, including electrical, hydraulic, fire protection, and environmentally sustainable design.
* Proven project experience in the building services sector across a range of large projects.
* Possess a working knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
* Ensure registration (or eligibility for registration) in the professional engineer register of the relevant state for the building/construction industry.
* Demonstrate a history of effectively managing competing priorities, prioritizing work, and meeting tight deadlines.
