We are looking for a vibrant and friendly individual to join our dedicated team of brokers, broker client managers, and administrative support staff. Your background in the mortgage broking industry, combined with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively, will make you an ideal fit for this position.

In this end-to-end role, you will support our senior broker by onboarding and managing clients, assessing their credit situations and options, processing loan applications all the way to approval, and creating memorable experiences for our customers.

- This is a full-time, permanent position, with hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

What We're Looking For:

- Proven experience in a similar Broker Support Role - Loan Processing and Credit Analyst - is essential.

- Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to operate efficiently in high-volume, deadline-driven environments.

- Strong communication skills with a personable, customer-focused approach.

- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for lateral thinking.

- Australian work authorisation is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Onboarding:

- Initiate onboarding and gather home loan customer information and supporting documents.

- Maintain customer profiles and data in MyCRM (LMG/Loan Market) – experience with MyCRM is preferred.

- Manage a pipeline of home loan customers from onboarding to formal approval

2. Customer Service:

- Deliver 5 star customer service through effective communication and relationship building.

3. Credit Assessing:

- Understand credit policies, home loan servicing, and lending strategies.

- Review financial information (income, expenses, liabilities) to assess borrowing capacity.

- Analyse borrower financial situations and conduct necessary credit checks.

- Assess equity and order valuations.

- Evaluate credit strategies and prepare recommendations based on financial analysis and risk assessments in line with the broker.

4. Loan Processing:

- Verify that home loan applications comply with lending policies and regulations.

- Submit home loan applications (via ApplyOnline / Loan App), create loan submission notes and upload required supporting documents.

- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail, striving for 'one touch' deals.

- Manage home loan pipeline, approval process and troubleshoot issues, guiding lodged applications to formal approval.

- Leverage our admin support staff for efficient & timely application turnaround times

Skills and Qualifications:

- Communication Skills: Effectively convey findings and recommendations to your team, customers, and external stakeholders.

- Financial Knowledge: Familiarity with financial statements, credit scoring, bank policies, and relevant tools.

- Attention to Detail: Precision is essential when reviewing financial information and making credit decisions.

- Education: A Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking or a bachelor's degree in finance is required.

- A bachelor's degree in finance is required for this position.

- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a similar role is essential.
