Roofing Technician Wanted
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on various types of buildings.
Job Description
A typical day for you as a Roofing Technician will involve conducting site measures, inspecting roof structures, and providing clients with estimates. You will also be responsible for installing roof materials such as insulation, waterproof underlays, sheet metal, and protective paint. In addition, you will need to measure and cut materials to fit around vents, gutters, chimneys, and walls, and replace damaged or rotting areas of clients' roofs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Trade Qualified: A trade qualification in roofing is essential for this role.
* Physical Fitness: You will be required to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks, therefore physical fitness is a must.
* Knowledge of Hand Tools and Power Tools: You should have a good understanding of hand tools and power tools, including their safe use and maintenance.
* Strong Attention to Detail: As a Roofing Technician, you will need to ensure that your work is of high quality and meets the necessary safety standards.
