 
        
        Job Opportunity: We are seeking a professional to oversee payroll operations with accuracy, mentoring and supporting payroll officers. This role presents an opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of payroll processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
The successful candidate will have 3+ years of comprehensive payroll experience, strong knowledge of Australian legislation, taxation, and superannuation, and proficiency in large payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Payroll Operations: Oversee weekly and monthly payroll within required timeframes
 * Maintain Payroll Records: Maintain accurate payroll records and assist with audits and reporting
 * Legislative Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and modern awards
 * Employee Management: Manage full-time, part-time, and casual employees ensuring proper payroll classifications and payments
 * Compliance Processing: Process payroll related compliance including superannuation and fair work obligations
 * Manual Calculations: Calculate termination entitlements and other ad-hoc manual calculations
 * Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve and automate payroll processes
 * Support and Training: Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to the team on complex payroll queries
