Fluid Power Technician
Overview of the role and key responsibilities.
* Perform maintenance and repair work on fluid power systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Main tasks include:
* Diagnose and repair faults in fluid power components and systems using testing equipment.
* Fault diagnose and perform operational maintenance, overhauling, repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment.
* Identify and repair fluid power components such as pumps, cylinders, valves, reservoirs, motors, accumulators, hose fittings, and filters.
* Carry out all types of maintenance on fluid power equipment to a high standard, ensuring safety and efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A recognized trade qualification in Fitting or equivalent, with a high level of hydraulic technical experience.
* Fluid power post-trade training or relevant industry experience.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience working on sites either heavy industry or mining.
