Valen Power is looking for a driven and proactive Business Development Manager to help us expand our footprint across Australia and The Pacific. If you're motivated by growth, strategy, and performance and want to be part of a trusted company at the forefront of energy solutions we'd love to talk.

What you'll be doing:

Prospect, Hunt, Close

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities
* Build and qualify a strong pipeline of prospects through research, outreach, and networking.
* Execute winning strategies to acquire new customers and close high-value deals.

Expand Your Territory

* Conduct discovery and proposal meetings with potential clients across AU & The Pacific
* Leverage market insights to shape and execute strategic growth plans.
* Align business development goals with Valen's long-term vision.

Build What Matters

* Cultivate relationships with decision-makers, partners, and industry influencers.
* Represent Valen at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
* Hand over leads to the most appropriate BDMs and collaborate across departments.

Track, Optimise, Repeat

* Monitor sales performance and pipeline metrics.
* Keep accurate records using our CRM system and follow the Valen Sales Playbook to drive consistency and scale.

What You Bring

* Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally in technical or industrial sectors.
* A strong track record in closing high-value deals and achieving revenue targets.
* Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
* Comfortable navigating CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A background in batteries or energy storage is highly regarded but not essential.
