Within RBS, the Consumer Finance Domainis responsible forend-to-end P&L management, product design, credit risk, acquisition & portfolio management and customer experience for Consumer Spending and Consumer Lending.
The Consumer Spending Crew has end-to-end responsibility for the Commonwealth Bank retail Credit Cards and our key consumer spending propositions. We consist of squads that look after the development of the consumer spending products, acquisition, the growth of our portfolio, our loyalty program and end-to-end process improvement.
Within the Value Card Product stream, theStepPaysquad is accountable for the end-to-end delivery and ongoing management of CommBank's Buy Now Pay Later capability. This includes feature development, customer journey optimisation, regulatory change delivery, and risk and control uplift across liveStepPayjourneys. The squad also plays a key role in evolvingStepPaycapabilities so they can be reused across multiple products and customer journeys across the bank.

As the Senior Product Manager forStepPay, you will lead the end-to-end product strategy, prioritisation, and delivery of theStepPaycapability. You will be accountable for balancing customer outcomes, regulatory obligations, and commercialobjectives, while ensuring sustainable and predictable delivery.
You will work closely with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, anddependent teamsto translate customer needs, regulatory requirements, and strategic intent into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
What you'll drive
* Customer-led feature uplift – Identify,prioritiseand deliver product features and enhancements that resolve customer and operational breakpoints acrossStepPayjourneys, using insights,complaintsand performance data.
* End-to-end delivery ownership – Own delivery from discovery through to launch, balancing feature uplift with regulatory change, riskremediationand operational improvements.
* Cross-functional execution – Work closely with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal anddependent teamsto shape solutions, manage dependencies and deliver outcomes efficiently.
* Risk and regulatory delivery – Partner with Risk and Compliance to embed controls into feature design and ensure regulatory obligations are met.
* ScalingStepPaycapabilities – Support the expansion ofStepPaycapabilities so they can be reused across multiple products,channelsand customer journeys across the bank.
We're looking for
* Significant experienceas a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager, ideally within financial services,paymentsor credit.
* Proven ability to deliver complex product change in regulated environments.
* Strong understanding of risk management,complianceand governance expectations.
* Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional delivery and influencing senior stakeholders.
* Strong analytical capability, with confidence using data and insights to inform prioritisation and decisions.
* A strong interest in the instalments and flexible payments landscape, including how these solutions can be used responsibly to deliver better customer outcomes.
