Lead Structural Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Lead Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading project teams, building and maintaining key client relationships, and providing technical leadership across the structural discipline.
About The Role
This diverse role will suit a results-driven individual with good industry experience across Industrial, Infrastructure, and Resources sectors. Buildings and Defence experience is also considered favourably.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical leadership to the structural team
* Manage project delivery from concept to construction documentation
* Grow the client base of the structural team
* Maintain key client relationships
* Lead bids and proposals
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering with 10+ years relevant experience
* Proven track record in project delivery in a consulting environment
* Strong industry knowledge and presence
* Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining key client relationships
* Chartered Engineer/RPEQ preferred
* Knowledge and competence in the use of relevant software such as RAPT, SPACE GASS, ETABS, and SAFE
* A passion for mentoring and eagerness to develop junior engineers
* Well-versed with current local building codes and standards
* A strong communicator
* Competence in preparing reports and technical specifications
* Ability to produce design, inspection report, assessment, and strengthening and repair of bridge structures desirable
