 
        
        Information Governance Project Lead
This position offers the unique opportunity to drive the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide information governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will lead a project that responds to the Public Records Act (Qld) 2023.
 * Drive the identification and creation of a comprehensive inventory of information assets.
 * Implement governance practices including information classification, appraisal, controls, risk assessments, and sensitivity/security classification.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
 * Proven project management expertise in delivering compliance-focused projects within the public sector.
 * Strong legislative knowledge, with experience interpreting and applying frameworks such as the Privacy Act, Public Records Act, Metadata Standards, Data Attributes, and the QGEA cyber security framework.
 * Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to provide trusted advice and influence decision-making.
