As part of their continued growth, they are seeking to hire a Senior Analyst / Associate to join their team in Melbourne (with hybrid flexibility an option to be based in Sydney).This is a dynamic, cross-functional role that blends data analytics and financial modeling to support commercial strategy and investment decision-making. The successful candidate will contribute to asset performance analysis, market research, and tender support for new services, helping to drive the success of battery storage projects across Australia.Key Responsibilities-Conduct data analysis to evaluate market and asset performance.-Support the preparation of investment models, commercial analyses, and financial reports.-Automate data collection and manipulation processes, including API scraping and cleaning.-Develop and maintain tools in Python to analyze operational and financial data.-Prepare and present insightful reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.-Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders including market operators, developers, and financial institutions.-Support tenders for new services and strategic initiatives within the Australian energy market.-Contribute to strategy development and decision-making through data-driven insights.Qualifications and SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.Proficiency in PythonExperience with data scraping and API integration.Strong capabilities in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Solid background in financial modelling and commercial analysis.Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.Interested?For a confidential conversation, please contact Mark Robinson mark@phillipriley.com.au.
