About Our Client
Our client is an end-to-end civil construction company. Based in South-East Queensland and the Darling Downs, they specialise in heavy construction, bulk earthworks, and underground infrastructure for residential, commercial, and mining sectors.
What You Will Be Doing
* Install stormwater, sewer, water, and drainage pipelines to project specifications.
* Read and interpret civil construction drawings, service plans, and set‐out information.
* Lay and join PVC, HDPE, concrete and reinforced concrete pipes.
* Complete trench preparation, pipe bedding, back‐filling and compaction works.
* Install pits, manholes, culverts, headwalls and other drainage structures.
* Conduct laser level and grade checks to ensure accurate pipe placement.
* Work alongside operators and labourers to complete pipe installation safely and efficiently.
* Complete pre‐starts, safety documentation, site reporting and maintain housekeeping standards.
Shift Structure
Monday to Friday 6:30am to 5pm
What is Required
* Driver's licence and reliable transport.
* White construction card.
* Previous experience in the duties listed above.
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans and levels.
* Ability to work autonomously and lead a crew.
* Cert III Pipelaying highly desirable.
* Confined Spaces and Gas Test Atmosphere tickets highly desirable.
* RII Excavator, RII Roller and RII Loader cards highly desirable.
* MR or HR driver's licence highly desirable.
* Reliability and good work ethic.
