Responsibilities
* Prepare and review detailed engineering designs for marine and civil infrastructure
* Coordinate with drafters and external consultants to produce high-quality documentation
* Provide technical input during tenders, planning, and construction phases
* Conduct site visits and support project teams with design queries
* Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards and specifications
* Contribute to value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* 3-8+ years' experience in civil, structural, or marine infrastructure projects
* Solid understanding of structural design
* Experience with tools such as Space Gass, Strand7, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D
* Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
Desirable
* Experience with marine piling, jetties, wharves, or bridges
* Exposure to temporary works or construction engineering
