We are recruiting on behalf of a respected, family-owned roofing business in Toowoomba seeking an experienced Leading Hand Roofing Tradesperson.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll run small teams, drive productivity and quality onsite, and help train the next generation of roofers — with a clear placement-to-permanent pathway.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading small roofing crews onsite
* Coordinating daily work, job flow, and sequencing
* Ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met
* Mentoring apprentices and supporting junior trades
* Acting as the key point of contact between crew and management
What We're Looking For
* Trade-qualified roofer with leadership experience
* Confident decision-maker who leads by example
* Organised, proactive, and dependable
* Strong communication skills onsite
* Passion for mentoring and developing apprentices
