Responsibilities
* Lead the factory day‐to‐day and set the tone for a safe, accountable, can‐do culture
* Drive operational rhythm: production planning, priorities, and performance visibility
* Lift DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time) and keep customers confident and coming back
* Improve labour efficiency, utilisation, and cost control (waste, rework, process time)
* Strengthen quality systems: inspection/testing, non‐conformance, corrective actions
* Coach leaders and build capability through practical training and clear expectations
* Partner with key customers and support the introduction of new business
* Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, delivery and cost
Qualifications
* Proven leadership experience in manufacturing/operations (leading leaders/supervisors)
* A track record of improving performance across quality, delivery, cost and safety
* Strong commercial instincts - you understand margins, productivity and what drives profit
* Confidence with problem‐solving tools (root cause, corrective actions, sustainable change)
* Clear, calm communication - you can influence on the floor and in the boardroom
* A practical, values‐led style: you're firm on standards and great with people
You will need full Australian working rights and a valid driver's license to be considered for this position.
