This is a Permanent Full-Time appointment.
An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Perioperative Services team at Carnarvon Hospital.
To be successful, you will have...
* Advanced clinical practice in Perioperative Nursing plus post-registration qualification in Perioperative Nursing or extensive experience at a senior level in Perioperative Nursing.
* Effective leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) and ability to work within a collegiate team environment.
* Evidence of participation in and commitment to quality improvement and best practice principles.
* Eligible for / or in possession of a current C or C-A Class driver's licence or other specialised licence class.
Position Profile: Undertakes the clinical and daily management of the delivery of quality services, through the efficient and effective utilisation of human, physical, material, and fiscal resources within the specialised areas of Operating Theatre, CSSD, and Outpatient Departments at Carnarvon Hospital. Areas of accountability include leadership, clinical standard setting and monitoring, policy implementation, and change management.

The Country Nursing & Midwifery Incentive Program offers financial support to eligible nurses and midwives across patient-facing roles on fixed-term or permanent contracts, ranging from $5,000 to $17,000 over 12 months. Details are available on the WA Country Health Service website.
