About the role
In this new and exciting role you will lead a team of CaseWorkers to support families and children to navigate complex ChildProtection systems, overcome psychosocial barriers and work towardsimproving their overall family functioning and connection. You willhold responsibility for the overall decision making within theprograms day to day delivery to ensure that service users aresupported through trauma informed practice along withperson-centred and strengths-based strategies.
You will also support and guide incident management, ensureeffective triage processes and facilitate and record regularsupervision. Leading a team, you will provide ongoing coaching andsupport, driving a values-based culture.
This role is being offered as a Part or Full TimePermanent opportunity based in Geraldton with some travel toCarnarvon and Meekatharra as required.
About you
We are looking for someone who is passionate about leading ateam who works alongside high-risk children and families.
You will possess:
* Demonstrated specialist knowledge and experience in traumainformed practice
* Experience coaching, mentoring and developing a team
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influenceand liaise in an informative and positive manner
* Experience in service coordination and team leadership withthe focus in building a strong team culture
* Drivers Licence
* Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* National Police Clearance (obtained within the last sixmonths)
