About the role

Join the Public Transport Authority (PTA) and play a key role in the successful delivery of our digital projects. This position provides essential support to Project Managers by assisting with project and contract administration, and assigned project activities. In this role, you will help develop project documentation, monitor progress, prepare reports and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success. The role involves supporting committees, managing data collection and assisting with site visits, contributing to the smooth and safe delivery of complex projects.

In addition, you will assist with contract administration, including maintaining documentation, monitoring correspondence, reviewing claims and supporting procurement processes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to portfolio and project management within a dynamic transport environment.

About You

To excel in this role, you should possess:

* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as a key support person in a team environment, prepare quality written correspondence, and foster collaborative relationships.
* Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, recommend improvements, and develop practical solutions to issues.
* Strong project administration skills with experience supporting project teams, including knowledge of contract administration, scheduling, risk management, scope and change management, and procurement processes.
* Well-developed organisational and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and records management systems, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

There is one permanent full-time opportunity available for an immediate start. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies both fixed term and permanent that may arise within the next 12 months.
