A Refrigeration Mechanic Role That Finally Fits
Refrigeration Mechanic (Residential A/C Specialist)
$45/hr+ | New Ute | Gym Bonus | Career Respect | Townsville-Based
Integral Electrical & Air-Conditioning – Where Great Tradies Thrive, Not Just Survive
If you're a refrigeration mechanic who thrives in residential air-conditioning installs, servicing, and maintenance, this could be the role you've been waiting for.
At Integral, we do things differently. We focus exclusively on residential maintenance, installs, and air-conditioning, and we're growing the right way—with a team that backs each other, takes pride in clean work, and values balance as much as skill.
What You'll Get:
– $45/hr+ starting rate – negotiable based on experience and attitude
– Brand new auto ute, fully fitted out and approved for personal use (T&Cs apply)
– Paid day off on your birthday – because life isn't just work
– Fortnightly haircut allowance – stay sharp
– Team dinners, coffee catch-ups – you'll actually enjoy your team
– Free gym membership – strong body, strong mind
– Work phone or allowance – your call
– Uniforms provided – no hassle, no cost
– 40-hour week – and a roadmap toward a 4-day work week
– Smart systems – we run ServiceM8 and Xero to keep things flowing
– Career development – mentoring and leadership opportunities
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be working on real homes, not construction sites. The core of your role will be residential air-conditioning—the kind of varied, meaningful jobs that keep things interesting and customers happy.
– Split system air-conditioning installations
– Servicing, cleaning, and chemical treatments
– Fault-finding and repairs
– Supporting apprentices and being part of a quality-driven crew
– Delivering polished, respectful service that makes you proud of the work you've done
Who You Are:
You're someone who takes pride in the little things—neat work, clear communication, and leaving every job better than you found it.
You'll need:
– Refrigeration Mechanic trade qualification
– Refrigerant Handling Licence
– Current driver's licence and CPR/LVR certification
– Tidy appearance and professional attitude
– Ability to work solo and within a tight-knit team
We're especially keen on candidates with:
– Strong experience in split system installation, servicing, and fault-finding
– Residential maintenance background
– Initiative, reliability, and a desire to grow
Don't tick every box yet? That's okay. If you've got the right residential background and the attitude to learn, we'll help you level up.
Why Join Integral?
Because we back our people—and we mean it.
You're not just another number here. You'll be part of a crew that respects your time, supports your growth, and makes work feel rewarding again. We're proud of the business we're building, and even prouder of the team we're building it with.
