Where you'll be working
The Registered Nurse works closely with a multidisciplinary team in the Endocrine Department. Responsibilities include: completing dynamic endocrine testing, providing endocrine-specific medication education, assisting in clinic settings, and performing venepuncture.
What You'll Be Doing
The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) position is to provide senior nursing clinical leadership in developing specialist clinical practice and service delivery. The CNS employs advanced clinical skills and exercises extended autonomy, working closely with managers and other senior clinicians.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years of experience in the clinical area of their specified postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance professional development.
Demonstrated experience in leading and initiating activities to improve clinical service delivery and patient outcomes.
Experience in teaching patients and carers.
Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated interest in dynamic endocrine testing, medication education, and venepuncture.
Ability to prioritise and manage complex, competing, and challenging situations.
