Our award‐winning team is looking to grow and seeks an early career Landscape Architect to be based at our Townsville office. You will be responsible for providing design solutions, documentation and ensuring client requirements are achieved in a profitable and cost‐efficient manner.
As part of a multidisciplinary group you will work with colleagues in urban design, planning, surveying, project management, business case, heritage and environmental specialists. This role offers full exposure to the landscape design process across various sectors in Queensland, New South Wales, ACT and Victoria.
Responsibilities
Assist in achieving a successful project from inception to delivery and ensuring client satisfaction through on‐time delivery of a quality product.
* Work and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary design team.
* Prepare plans and documents using computer‐based systems such as Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign, and similar.
* Produce diagrams, renders and imagery (Revit, Lumion, Photoshop).
* Assist the Project Lead with cost estimates.
* Resolve complex design problems (grading, construction detailing).
* Manage stakeholder relationships internally and externally with clients, governments, subcontractors, and industry bodies.
Qualifications
* A tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture (BBE) or equivalent recognised by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA).
* Experience in landscape architecture design within a professional practice.
* Efficient user of Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop.
* Knowledge of Blender, Sketch‐Up, Lumion is advantageous.
* Unrestricted Australian driving licence.
You must have citizenship, permanent residency, or a visa that entitles you to work full time on an ongoing basis for at least three years. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
