As the steward of the early childhood development system, the Office will act on government's behalf, and work in collaboration with the sector, to organise and connect the system to reduce developmental vulnerability.
This includes providing universal access to quality, teacher-led preschool from the age of 3, growing and sustaining a quality early childhood workforce, and greater supports and connected services for families in the **** days of a child's life.
About this role: The Project Lead, Aboriginal Integrated Hubs is responsible for a range of project and policy functions related to the implementation of integrated service hubs, operated and managed by Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs).
This role delivers policy analysis, project management, stakeholder engagement, expert advice and program delivery relating to Aboriginal early childhood development, education and care across a state-wide and national scale.
This role requires significant attention to cultural responsiveness in an environment that promotes shared decision making, uplifts Aboriginal voice and Aboriginal cultural safety.
Your Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the implementation of ACCO integrated hubs to empower Aboriginal children and families.
Lead the establishment of processes and partnerships with communities and stakeholders to co-design hubs.
Lead, plan, deliver and evaluate policy and project planning of the ACCO hub workstream, including research and policy agenda.
Provide high-level strategic advice to senior executives and stakeholders on the commissioning process to determining the ACCO hubs.
About you: You will bring a deep understanding of culturally responsive practice and demonstrated experience working in partnership with Aboriginal people and communities, supported by strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate complex information.
Your analysis and evaluation skills will be critical to implementing policy and processes that achieve outcomes in a complex and changing environment.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who brings: Skill in co-design and community engagement approaches.
Demonstrated ability to design, lead and deliver high-level strategic projects and policy initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-level reports.
Ability to provide clear, evidence-based advice and evaluate complex or sensitive policy issues.
