Job Title

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a key role that involves assisting senior brokers in managing client relationships, leveraging all broking opportunities, closing deals and ensuring details of trades are accurately captured.

You will be responsible for promoting the company as a whole and supporting management and/or senior brokers in various aspects of the business. This includes helping to maintain and develop existing client relationships, identifying prospective new clients, developing and maintaining a sound knowledge of products and markets, monitoring markets and following financial news and developments.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and demonstrate a strong customer focus. They will also be able to work effectively in a high-pressure environment, handle criticism constructively, and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

* Promote the company and support management and/or senior brokers in facets of the business
* Helping to maintain and develop existing client relationships
* Assist in the identification of prospective new clients and engage where deemed appropriate
* Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of products and markets
* Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments
* Gain full operational knowledge and understanding of the trade lifecycle
* Understand the desk's business strategy and seek to identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clients
* Assisting in the on-boarding new clients following the correct process with the Client On-Boarding team
* Leverage both product and client understanding to Identify internal cross selling opportunities
* Ensure all market communication is on recorded mediums approved by the company
* Support a risk and compliance aware culture and comply with group policies
* Exercise independent judgement and act with integrity, care, skill and diligence to avoid conflicts of interest and escalate issues as appropriate
