Hunter Manning is currently partnering with a well-established organisation in Perth's Eastern suburbs to recruit a Projects & Accounts Administrator to join their finance team supporting WA operations. This is an immediate start, initially offered on a temporary basis with strong potential to transition to permanent.
This is a hands‐on position combining project administration and finance support. You'll play a key role in maintaining costing accuracy, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring financial accuracy.
Key responsibilities include:
* Prepare and submit invoices and claims
* Liaise with customers regarding purchase orders and updates
* Track project costs and assist with budget monitoring
* Set up and close jobs in the system
* Allocate costs to the correct projects
* Review WIP and flag any issues
* Support the team with project costing and admin tasks
* Ensure processes are followed correctly
* Assist with basic reporting on project performance
* Enter timesheets and maintain accurate records
To be successful in this position, you will have
* Proven experience in a similar administration or accounts role
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry
* A proactive, can‐do attitude with a commitment to quality
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Previous experience within mining, industrial, or project‐based environments (highly regarded)
