We work with our clients to drive the best possible commercial outcome for each real estate project and portfolio.Our experience is in residential, industrial, rural, commercial and government projects, across a broad range of property asset classes, including residential, commercial, industrial, retail and agricultural.About the role:This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Solicitor to work in an established property practice.Commercial and residential transactions, including due diligence, contract review and negotiations and managing settlement requirementsExtensive range of leasing transactions and advice work including preparing, reviewing and negotiating lease documents and advising on lease dealings and disputesExposure to working on a variety of property projects involving subdivisions, easements, body corporate advice work, development and joint venture agreementsDirect engagement with clients including with major developers, shopping centre owners, national tenants, SMEs and private investorsManaging a robust workload, including prioritising work and delivering services effectivelyDeveloping an understanding of client operations and strategy with the opportunity to contribute to growing existing and new client relationshipsConducting effective legal research and analysis to produce timely, commercial and legally accurate adviceContinual professional development and managing MCLE requirementsAbout you:1-3 years PQE in a similar property practiceConveyancing, PEXA and leasing experience preferredA desire to be an integral member of a strong and cohesive team who work togetherAbility to manage large volumes of documentsStrong attention to detailPractical and client focused problem solving and research skillsPrevious exposure to Business Development and a natural ability to build strong client relationshipsAbility to manage client expectations and run matters autonomouslyInterested in establishing a long-term successful career with Colin Biggers & PaisleyAbility to relate to people at all levels and effectively work in a teamA strong focus on turnaround timeCommercial acumenPractical and client focused problem solving skillsA strong, plain language communication styleJoin the team:Our culture focuses on excellence without losing sight of work-life balance.
