Job Overview

This role is pivotal in shaping the organizational landscape, overseeing all HR functions, and ensuring seamless alignment with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

* HR Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with executive management to define and advance strategic people, culture, and capability plans.
* Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to legal HR requirements, including the Workplace Health & Safety Act 2011 and payroll obligations.
* Talent Acquisition and Development: Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, as well as staff induction and onboarding.
* Performance Management: Provide guidance to managers and staff regarding performance expectations and corrective action, when necessary.
* Termination Management: Handle staff terminations in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
* Training and Development: Align training plans with individuals' goals and organizational objectives.
* Industrial Relations: Provide advice and support on staff performance issues, including performance improvement, counselling, and disciplinary action.
* HR Policy Framework: Maintain and update the HR policy and procedure framework.
* Culture and Engagement: Oversee the administration of the staff recognition and reward program, as well as the implementation of a learning management system.

Requirements

* Time Management: Possess exceptional time management skills, including prioritization, planning, and managing competing demands.
* Computer Literacy: Have high-level computer literacy, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and Payroll/Human Resource Information Systems.
* Attention to Detail: Demonstrate high attention to detail.
* Initiative and Adaptability: Exhibit initiative, flexibility, adaptability, and analytical skills.
* Problem-Solving: Possess strong problem-solving abilities.
* Interpersonal Skills: Display well-developed interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with colleagues, jobseekers, managers, and other stakeholders.
* Qualifications: Hold a degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related discipline, and possess at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
