Responsibilities
Deliver person‐centred services across aged care, disability and community service settings. Empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by providing personal care (showering/dressing), continence support, assistance with meals, assistance with medications, domestic duties (laundry/housework/ironing/gardening). Provide clients with shopping, transport, in‐home respite, centre‐based respite care, overnight respite (including sleepovers), social support/activities, and other tasks as stated in the customer care plan.
Qualifications
* Location: Bundaberg and Surrounds, Weekend Cover
* Compassionate, enthusiastic, qualified Community Care Worker
* Ability to work as part of a team to continually promote and provide excellent care and services to customers
* Demonstrated ability to provide excellent, flexible and holistic care to a variety of customers with varying needs
* Demonstrated understanding of the needs of and empathy towards older people and people with a disability
* Willingness to travel in the community and between clients for work
* Certificate III in Individual Care (or equivalent) from a recognised provider for appointment to Level 3
* Comprehensively insured Motor Vehicle, Current Queensland Driver's Licence and willingness to drive and use own vehicle
