We are currently seeking a Chemical Engineer to join our team at Clayton and be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing chemical processes and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and cost‑effective production. This role involves working closely with cross‑functional teams to improve processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement chemical processes for manufacturing and production.
* Monitor and optimize existing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
* Conduct research and development for new products or process improvements.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Analyze data and prepare technical reports and documentation.
* Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and production teams.
* Troubleshoot process issues and recommend corrective actions.
* Support scale‑up from laboratory to full production.
Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
* 2–5 years of experience in chemical process design, optimization, or manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and reaction engineering.
* Problem‑solving and analytical thinking.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Familiarity with safety standards and environmental regulations.
