About the Role
Asset Auditor / Building Auditor
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Asset Auditor / Building Auditor with approximately 1 year of industry experience to support infrastructure and building asset inspection programs across Victoria.
This role will involve conducting field inspections, capturing asset data, reviewing technical documentation, and assisting in maintaining asset registers for civil and building infrastructure. You will work closely with experienced engineers and consultants while gaining exposure to asset management, compliance processes, and infrastructure audits.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct site inspections and field audits of building and infrastructure assets.
* Identify and record asset components including structures, pavements, slabs, drainage systems, and external works.
* Capture asset attributes, condition ratings, and location data using mobile data collection applications.
* Review engineering drawings, plans, and documentation to verify asset information.
* Assist with maintaining and updating asset registers.
* Collect photographic records and supporting inspection documentation.
* Identify defects, deterioration, or compliance issues and report findings.
* Work collaboratively with engineers, consultants, and project teams on active infrastructure projects.
* Ensure collected asset data meets project quality standards and reporting requirements.
About You
* Around 1 year of experience in asset auditing, infrastructure inspections, building inspections, or similar roles.
* Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Surveying, Infrastructure Engineering, or related discipline.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical plans.
* Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
* Ability to work both independently in the field and collaboratively within project teams.
* Experience with mobile inspection tools or asset management systems is desirable.
Requirements
* Willingness to travel to project sites across Victoria.
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
* Valid work rights/visa for Australia.
* Ability to provide or obtain a current Police Check.
