Overview
Department for Health and Wellbeing – Corporate and Infrastructure – Procurement Supply Chain Management (PSCM). Salary: $1, - WSE3 – Full Time / Ongoing appointment.
Store Person, Vaccine Warehouse Operations, responsible for delivering efficient and prompt warehouse and distribution services at the SA Health Vaccine Distribution Centre.
Responsibilities
* Maintain supply chain activity within a cold storage environment.
* Uphold and contribute to Health, Safety and Welfare of staff.
* Handle vaccine inventory across receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
* Ensure accurate picking and dispatch of vaccine orders to service providers.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Operate materials handling equipment such as forklift or reach‑truck (must hold current license or ability to acquire).
* Work out of business hours including on‑call capacity after hours, weekends and public holidays.
* Work within cold room temperatures.
* May be rotated into ambient SA Health Distribution Centre as required.
Qualifications
* Current South Australian motor vehicle driver's licence.
* Current licence for forklift or reach‑truck or ability to acquire.
* Ability to work under cold‑room conditions.
* Strong awareness of health and safety standards.
Screening Requirements
* Criminal History Screening: A National Police Certificate (NPC) required.
* Immunisation: Category C (minimal patient contact).
* Immunisation policy: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination required.
