Annual Salary: $74,275.50-$76,537.50 + $5.14 p/h + 12% Super + Benefits

Hello. We're the Y WA

We're that local (Not-For-Profit) Early Learning Centre (ELC) located on Barker Street who's all about inspiring and nurturing children to become independent little butterflies. And guess what? You're a big part of how we make this happen.

You could be our new full-time Nursery Room Leader ready to release your early years education passion, playing a crucial role in the education and social development of babies (0-2 yrs). What you'll be doing:

If you live local, you might know our Broome centre. At the start of your day, you'll walk past our award-winning nature scape thriving with play and learning. You'll lead a close-knit team of educators, ensuring our children enjoy an inclusive, safe, hygienic, and inspiring environment that will feel warm and welcoming to both the children and families. You'll promote our 'School ReadY' program and manage compliance. At the end of your shift, you'll walk out the door knowing the children are continuing to develop in body, mind, and spirit.

You'll be great in this role if you...

* Have infectious enthusiasm and passion in early years education and care
* Have a degree or diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent
* Hold a HLTAID012 First Aid certificate or equivalent
* Understand the National Quality Framework & National Education & Care Services Regulations 2012
* Previous experience in children services, developing and implementing programs for 0-to-5-yr olds
* Can obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
