Description and Requirements
The ACQ Client Relationship Representative is responsible for selling ONE LENOVO portfolio of offerings (IDG and ISG hardware, software, services, and industry solutions) directly to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work independently or lead a team of sales specialists, providing advice and guidance.
2. Possess comprehensive knowledge of the discipline's offerings and ensure their success within the business unit.
3. Lead large and/or complex opportunities, winning business from national or significant customers.
4. Utilize in-depth sales, business, and professional skills to engage with any level of customer management.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical sales knowledge in the discipline offerings.
2. Demonstrate required proficiency levels for technical and sales skills.
3. Maintain knowledge of sales processes, techniques, and tools, and advise others on their use.
Team Involvement:
1. Collaborate closely with an Internal Account Manager based in Kuala Lumpur, engaging with various business areas.
2. Maintain in-depth knowledge of competition's offerings and strategies.
3. Differentiate LENOVO offerings from competitive alternatives to create customer preference.
4. Negotiate with team members to define approaches and goals.
Problem Solving:
1. Design total integrated solutions to meet complex customer business requirements.
2. Recognize complex problems and implement solutions, assessing risks for LENOVO and customers.
3. Apply creativity and judgement in developmental work on complex opportunities.
Contribution/Leadership:
1. Lead teams of professionals, providing ongoing technical and sales guidance.
2. Initiate selling activity where no relationship team or agent is involved.
3. Utilize expertise to influence people outside the business unit.
4. Participate in planning sales strategies and objectives.
Impact on Business/Scope:
1. Accountable for assigned territory sales results and specific personal objectives.
2. Manage to a high level of customer satisfaction, designing and implementing plans to enhance it.
Position Requirements:
Key Performance Indicators / Metrics:
* Revenue and Margin attainment against sales plan
* Line of business target attainment
* Pipeline metrics and forecast accuracy
Candidate Pre-Requisites:
* Minimum 7-10 years sales experience in IT sector
* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quota
* Previous experience selling to the Very Large Enterprise sector
* Experience in providing end-to-end account management
* Strong business acumen
* A network of existing customers, partners and business contacts in the target market
* Self-motivated with skills to assess customer requirements
