On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly experienced Production Lead to join their team in Perth.

You will need to be capable and willing to travel domestically, and to onshore and offshore facilities as required.

**About this role**
- Stand in for Shutdown or Implementation Superintendents as required.
- Support facility shutdown, maintenance, and implementation teams as required.
- Support Phase early scope planning and reviews.
- Lead planning and execution of assigned implementation maintenance and campaign work.
- Assist with maturing of Campaign maintenance management processes applicable across our assets, for all Campaign activities, including integration with Core operations.
- Lead establishment of metrics and associated targets for effective delivery of operations maintenance function.
- Monitor performance against metrics through provision of review and audit functions.
- In conjunction with Shutdown and Implementation Superintendents, develop capability of the implementation teams.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop effective working relationships with internal and external support groups, vendors / Contractors to ensure that established maintenance activities through; objectives are met.
- Fulfill the role of contract focal point for assigned maintenance support contractors.
- Promote a workplace of inclusion and where diversity is valued.
- Create an environment whereby individuals are encouraged to contribute and feel comfortable to bring one's whole self to work.
- Ensure key risks associated with maintenance activities are fully identified with mitigating actions, controls, and contingencies.
- Ensure familiarity with key risks associated with plant engineering activity including HSE, Business and reputational related risks and ensure mitigating actions are identified and managed.
- Provide an interface with engineering teams to progress priority scopes and support MOC's as required.
- Ensure the change control process is used for all procedural or material changes.
- Provide an interface to drive the long-and short-term IAP process to enable work programs to be completed efficiently, identification of future opportunities including elimination of conflicting activity and unnecessary downtime.
- Drive improvements within major scopes through after-action reviews and sharing of lessons learnt across facilities.
- Driving campaign process and readiness for campaign execution
- Coordinate the specialist vendor and supplementary labor assistance required to achieve efficient execution of maintenance plans
- Optimise spare parts volumes and locations to meet required response times
- Prioritise maintenance execution to reduce HSE and production risks
- Provide input to OPEX forecasts to support Operations budgeting process
- Participate in SD challenge sessions to understand the impact of work coming in or out of the SD window and likely alternative windows.
- Ensure familiarity of staff and contractors with relevant regulatory obligations, particularly those aspects related to technical standards, and establish mechanisms to monitor compliance and ensure all team staff and contractors comply with requirements of the relevant facility Safety Reports, Safety Cases and environmental plans.
- Comply with relevant components of the Maritime Transport and Facilities Act applicable to our facilities.
- Maintain compliance with the competency requirements of role and that this can be demonstrated by review or audit.
- Maintain a sound working understanding of plant process, layout, equipment configurations.
- Sound understanding of commercial considerations to support various work and maintenance execution options, such as the use of new technology to support

**About you**
- Australian Full workimg rights
- Degree or Diploma level qualification in Engineering/Maintenance related discipline.
- Project Management experience also preferred.
- Extensive experience in significant hydrocarbon facility work with direct experience in project execution, shutdowns and maintenance including field execution on onshore gas production facilities.
- Familiarity and operational awareness with Australia regulations and regulator
- Capable to manage large teams of personnel and contractors Job Description
- Good understanding of commercial and planning requirements for different and complex scope
- Sound understanding and familiarity of typically operational processes and systems used to manage day-today operations and major shutdown scope execution.
- Solid understanding of internal and external continuous improvement processes
- Experience with Microsoft Suite, SAP, appropriate Operations' information management systems (mostly for reporting/monitoring).
- Strong communicator and good negotiation skills
