About the role
Join the dynamic team at Link-Force Au' as a Crane Operator. In this casual role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various types of cranes at our construction sites located in Adelaide, South Australia. Your skills and expertise will play a crucial part in the delivery of our projects.
What you'll be doing
1. Operate tower cranes, mobile cranes, and other lifting equipment on construction sites
2. Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on assigned cranes
3. Communicate with site supervisors and work collaboratively with the broader construction team
4. Ensure all lifting operations are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices
5. Provide training and guidance to less experienced crane operators
6. Maintain accurate records of crane usage, inspections, and any issues encountered
What we're looking for
1. Valid crane operator's license and several years of hands-on experience operating various types of cranes
2. Strong understanding of crane capabilities, load charts, and rigging requirements
3. Excellent spatial awareness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely under pressure
4. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
5. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
6. Familiarity with relevant construction industry regulations and safety standards
7. 1x Operator for Night Shift - $70
8. 1x Operator for Day Shift - $55
9. Experience Operating 60 ton & 100-ton Cranes
10. C1 & C6 Ticket Essential
